Former Angel pitcher Frank LaCorte has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter in the death of an 88-year-old woman in Gilroy, Calif. He was sentenced to three years of court probation, fined $1,700, and ordered to do 200 hours of volunteer community service.
