Copter Crashes on Carrier Deck

NAPLES, Italy — A helicopter crashed onto the flight deck of the U.S. aircraft carrier America today, slightly injuring “some personnel,” a Navy spokesman said. The America was one of three carriers that took part in 6th Fleet maneuvers that ended off the Libyan coast March 27.
