Thomas A. Day, president of Superior Construction Co. and Grove Lumber Co. in Ontario, has been elected chairman of California City Bank in Orange. Day, one of the organizing members of the bank in June, 1983, replaces Roger Hobbs, who resigned to devote more time to his real estate development business, Century American Corp., but remains on the board. Philip Rocco of Tustin was elected to the boards of the bank and its holding company, California City Bancorp, filling vacancies created by resignations last fall and in January. Rocco is president of Rocco’s Truck, Van and Four-Wheel Drive Wrecking in Santa Ana.
