Legislator Back; Has Disappeared Twice

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A state senator whose long absence from the Legislature prompted concern among colleagues has returned with no explanation of where she had been.
Marigene Valiquette, a Toledo Democrat, returned to the Statehouse on Wednesday. She last attended a Senate session in January.
Last year, Valiquette disappeared from public view for about five months. When she returned, she told a reporter that she had taken time off for personal reasons.
