Toyko — North Korea has accused the United States of mounting provocative attacks and criminal acts against Libya, the North Korean Central News Agency reported Thursday.
“The United States, which has threatened Libya by massing its fleet and flying corps in the sea off Libya under the pretext of military exercises, made an attack at last on various targets of Libya on March 24 and 25,” the agency quoted a Foreign Ministry statement as saying.
“This open provocative attack of the United States on Libya is a wicked encroachment upon Libya’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a brigandish aggressive act crudely trampling underfoot publicly recognized international law. This is a criminal act . . .,” the statement added.
