Congressional Candidates Were Omitted

Candidates for office in the 43rd Congressional District, which encompasses Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente and north San Diego County, were not included in a listing in Saturday’s edition of those whose names will appear on the June 3 primary election ballot. The candidates, who filed for office in San Diego, are Republican incumbent Ron Packard; Democrats Joseph Chirra, attorney, and Kevin Schmidt, civil engineer, and Libertarian Phyllis Avery, historical researcher.
