Fullerton Gymnasts Upset No. 13 California

In its best performance of the season, the Cal State Fullerton men’s gymnastics team upset No. 13 California Friday night, 273.05-269.65, in a dual meet in Titan Gym.
Russell Lacy led the Titans (5-17) with a win in the vault and a second-place finish in the floor exercise. He scored 9.7 in both events.
Ric Draghi added a 9.5 in the vault for third place, Brock Wilson was third in the floor exercise with a 9.65 and Harry Loupakis won the parallel bar event with a score of 9.25.
The Bears’ Bob Sundstrom took the all-around title with 55.25 total points. He had the high score of the meet, a 9.75 in the floor exercise.
