The Lakers’ Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was voted the greatest player in the history of the NBA in a Dallas Morning News poll of basketball experts. Abdul-Jabbar was named on 18 of the 60 ballots. Guard Oscar Robertson, the former Cincinnati Royal-Milwaukee Buck star finished second with 14 votes, drawing a vote from Abdul-Jabbar.
