Business Beauty Awards: Twenty-one firms received awards from the city Friday in the first annual Business Beautification program. The awards, presented by Mayor Daniel E. Griset at the Saddleback Inn, are designed to reward “attractive and well-maintained businesses,” program coordinator Darl Incledon said. The winners, selected from 125 nominations, included Lake Center, Civic Center Plaza Towers, Claudine’s French Cafe, Honda of Santa Ana, South Coast Plaza Village and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center. The city also received a certificate Friday from the “Keep America Beautiful” anti-litter program active in 370 cities and counties in 10 Western states.
