Chapman Tops USIU, 91-86

Chapman College defeated United States International University, 91-86, in a nonconference basketball game Monday at Chapman.
Kelly Huston scored 21 points to lead four Chapman players in double figures.
Jon Samuelson had 20, Karl Tompkins had 19 and Wayne Briggs added 13 for the Panthers, who improved their overall record to 6-14.
Tompkins also had 11 rebounds for Chapman.
Joe Yezbak’s 27 points led USIU, which fell to 7-13 overall.
