Sears plans to sell selected RCA video products.
The agreement to offer RCA color television sets, videocassette recorders and other products marks “the first time that we’ve offered a major brand in the video area,†a Sears spokesman said. In the past, products were sold only under the Sears name. The decision was based on an “extremely successful†test marketing of certain RCA products in the Atlantic Coast market last year, a spokesman said.
