HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER : Santa Paula Ties Top-Ranked Agoura

Agoura High, ranked No. 1 in the Southern Section’s 1-A boys soccer poll, tied Santa Paula, 0-0, Tuesday.
Agoura (12-1-1 overall, 4-0-1 in league) had a chance to score midway through the second half, but Mike Nielsen missed a shot near the net. Agoura and Santa Paula are Frontier League rivals.
L.A. Baptist 3, Marshall Fundamental 0--Scott Ellison scored in the first half, and David Fursman and Chris Bollier added one each in the second half to lead the fourth-ranked Knights over sixth-ranked Marshall Fundamental in a 1-A Division game.
Chaminade (girls) 6, Westlake 0--Chaminade extended their Sunshine League winning streak to seven as Amy Miller and Erika Vote each scored twice.
