Longtime Nevada gaming executive Burton Cohen has been named president of the troubled Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas.
Tony Zmaila, Dunes general counsel, said Cohen was elected to the post in a board of directors meeting Sunday.
The hotel has been operating under Chapter 11 since Nov. 6. Richard Bunker, former gaming control board chairman, left as president of the Dunes last week to take a similar post at the Aladdin hotel.
