Kings Face Oilers Tonight in Canada
EDMONTON, Canada — The Kings will open a two-game trip tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.
Center Wayne Gretzky of the Oilers has a 38-game scoring streak after Edmonton’s 7-6 overtime victory over New Jersey Friday night, second only to his NHL-record streak of 51 games, set in 1983-84. The Kings broke that streak.
The Kings will play the Calgary Flames Monday night before returning home for a game against the Minnesota North Stars next Wednesday night at the Forum.
