Birtcher Business Park Phase 1 Nearly Ready
Completion is anticipated this month for Phase 1 of Birtcher’s $70-million Centerpointe La Palma mixed-use business park in the city of La Palma.
Master planned on 42 acres at the intersection of Valley View Street and Orangethorpe Parkway, immediately adjacent to the Riverside (91) Freeway, Centerpointe will include space for office, high-tech, research and development and retail users, as well as several restaurants and a 162-room Day’s Inn hotel.
The campus-like environment of the complex will be enhanced by a double canopy of flowering trees and shrubs along a pedestrian walkway connecting all 15 low-rise to mid-rise commercial/retail buildings and the seven-story lodging facility. Underground cable connections between buildings will provide an advanced communications system.
Birtcher, headquartered in Laguna Niguel, is the seventh largest developer of commercial properties in the United States and its projects include the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Mart, Westech at Dulles Airport and Oakmead Village in Northern California’s Silicon Valley.
Leasing responsibilities for Centerpointe have been assigned to Coldwell Banker.
