Pesa Helps St. Louis to 5-2 Victory Over Lazers

ST. LOUIS — Njego Pesa scored two goals in the third quarter and Greg Makowski scored twice in the fourth Wednesday night, rallying the St. Louis Steamers to a 5-2 victory over the Lazers in a Major Indoor Soccer League game.
Midway through the second quarter, Los Angeles’ Willie Malon scored for the only goal of the first half. It was Malon’s eighth goal this season and fifth in two games.
However, St. Louis stormed back in the third quarter when Don Ebert scored, in addition to Pesa’s two goals, making it 3-1.
