Grant Tennis Team Advances to Semifinals

Grant High’s girls tennis team advanced to the City semifinals after defeating Chatsworth, 4-3, Wednesday at the Racquet Centre in Studio City.

Rowena Montenegro, Grant’s No. 1 singles player, beat Chris Larsen, 6-1, 6-0. Teammate Debbie Neiter beat Kim Christianson, 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles. In the third singles match, Christal Polee handled Chatsworth’s Kescia Perdue, 6-2, 6-1.
