The Limited Inc. reported record third-quarter net income of $42.1 million and said the figure represented a 48% jump over $28.4 million in earnings during the comparable period last year. For the quarter ended Nov. 2, Limited also reported that revenue increased 76% to $613.3 million from last year’s $348.6 million. Limited Chairman Leslie H. Wexner attributed the record results to a restructuring of the company’s management team in 1982.
