‘Unsung Death’ of Alex Odeh

I totally agree with Geyelin’s column.
As Geyelin wrote, Odeh’s murder was certainly connected to the Arab-Israeli conflict. However, our elected representatives only seem to be sympathetic to those whose money and large political clout can insure their reelection.
Irv Rubin, a leader of the Jewish Defense League, made the comment, “He got exactly what he deserved.” You better believe if a member of an Arab organization had said that about the Klinghoffer murder that organization would be deported to the moon!
I can only hope that the family and friends of Alex Odeh realize that for most U.S. citizens, Odeh’s death was every bit as horrendous as other victims of terrorism, and that our law enforcement agencies will apprehend those responsible for his murder.
