S. Korean Protest Broken Up

SEOUL — Police overpowered 14 South Korean students and freed three hostages after a two-hour anti-government, anti-U.S. occupation of the American Chamber of Commerce office in Seoul today.
The students chanted “Down with military dictatorship” and “Withdraw American capitalists” as they were hauled away by police after splashing gasoline inside the office on the third floor of Seoul’s Chosun Hotel and threatening to light it.
