West Los Angeles : Bicycle Parking Areas Sought
Los Angeles City Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky has asked the council’s planning and environment committee to consider forcing developers to include parking areas for bicycles in their projects. Yaroslavsky said many more people would travel by bicycle if there were appropriate storage and parking areas.
The councilman made the suggestion at the urging of Ryan Snyder, a UCLA graduate student who has been promoting a bicycle freeway from Westwood to West Los Angeles.
