Bell Gardens

The Bell Gardens Plaza, a commercial development at Florence and Eastern avenues, will kick off a three-day grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday. Clowns, mariachi bands and $100 gift certificate giveaways are scheduled throughout the weekend. The shopping center, whose main stores are a Toys ‘R Us and McCoy’s Market, also has restaurants and variety shops.
