Man Found Dead in Car in Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA — A 22-year-old Chula Vista man was found dead in the front seat of a parked car in Chula Vista early Saturday morning, a coroner’s deputy reported. A neighbor found Robert Perez about 6:30 a.m. in the front seat a 1982 Ford Mustang parked in the 200 block of Montgomery Street. Deputy Coroner Robert Engle said the death may be drug- or alcohol-related, but an autopsy was pending.
