Fullerton : Brother, Sister Wounded by Shots During Party
A brother and sister were shot by a gunman early Sunday as they stood outside a home in Fullerton where a party was in progress, police said.
The victims, Benjamin Rojas, 24, and Rebecca Rojas, 22, were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where both were listed in stable condition.
Fullerton police said the brother and sister were standing outside 436 E. Elm St. at 1:34 a.m. when a car drove by and shots were fired. Benjamin Rojas was wounded in the hand and his sister was wounded in the back, police said.
Police said there was no immediate indication that the shooting was gang-related. They said they believed the incident stemmed “from an altercation during the party.”
