The Oakland A’s rehired Manager Jackie Moore for the 1986 season. Moore managed the A’s to a 77-85 fourth-place finish in the American League West this season.
The A’s also rehired pitching coach Wes Stock and coaches Bob Didier and Dave McKay. But Coach Clete Boyer retired, and batting Coach Billy Williams is considering retiring, the club said.
