Midshipman Accused of Theft Faces Court-Martial

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A midshipman accused of stealing $8,000 in merchandise from the U.S. Naval Academy store faces a court-martial today, only the third at the academy in 63 years. If convicted, Clayton M. Lewis, 20, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., could be confined at hard labor for up to 11 1/2 years.
