Gerald S. Bartfield was been named president and chief executive of Security Properties Inc., a real estate investment firm based in Seattle, succeeding Peter F. Anders, chairman of Farmers Savings Bank in Davis, Calif., who served temporarily in those posts. Farmers bought SPI late last year.
