The World : Tunisia Breaks Libya Ties

Tunisia broke diplomatic relations with Libya, accusing Col. Moammar Kadafi’s regime of pursuing a “permanent policy of aggression and hostility.” The decision was announced in state-run media just one day after Tunisia charged that a Libyan diplomat smuggled into the country letter bombs that were addressed to Tunisian journalists. The announcement charged Libya with sponsoring subversive acts, violating Tunisian airspace and threatening force against Tunis.
