Capistrano Valley, which failed to get a vote last week, moved into sixth place with 37 points following a 26-7 win over Foothill. Three South Coast League teams--Capistrano Valley, Mission Viejo and El Toro--are represented in the top 10.
In the key game of the week, El Modena hosts Esperanza in a rematch of last year’s Southern Conference championship game on Friday night at Fred Kelly Stadium in Orange.
