Rock performer John Oates, who teams on stage with Darryl Hall, was bruised and shaken up when he was involved in a three-car crash during the running of the Lowenbrau Camel GT 500-mile sports car race.

Oates, 35, from Bridgewater, Conn., was teamed with Bob Earl in a Pontiac Fiero in the International Motor Sports Assn. endurance event at Elkhart Lake, Wis. He was taken by ambulance to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, but was released after being examined for a possible concussion.
