Senior Camp-Out

This is a follow-up to your article on the Seniors’ Camp-Out at the Salvation Army’s Mt. Craig’s Camp in the Santa Monica Mountains.

We wish to confirm the joy and happiness that the campers are experiencing. We regularly walk and jog through the camp in the early mornings and have frequently had occasion to exchange pleasantries with some of the campers . . . from seniors, inner-city kids to Down’s syndrome victims.

This camp and the staff give so much to so many of these campers. This one camping experience is a marvelous example of what the Salvation Army is doing for so many people.
