Linebacker Mike Singletary, a holdout since July 26, agreed to return to the Chicago Bears after the club said it would “restructure” Singletary’s contract and add cash bonuses based on his performance.
Singletary, one of the top linebackers in the National Football League, said he expects to play in Monday night’s exhibition against the Dallas Cowboys.
