Raise A Secret Heads Los Alamitos Futurity Field

Favored Raise A Secret heads a field of 10 2-year-olds competing in tonight’s $669,774 Los Alamitos Futurity for quarter horses at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Trained by Blane Schvaneveldt, Raise A Secret gave Los Alamitos’ all-time leading trainer his first Dash For Cash Futurity win July 13. It was the second leg of Los Alamitos’ Triple Crown for two-year-olds. Solvency won the first leg, the Kindergarten, on June 15.

The main competition for Raise A Secret, who has won five of six starts, is expected to come from Soundsgoodtome, a filly who has won three of five races.
