New High School Principal Named at Los Alamitos

Carol Hart has been selected from a field of 50 candidates to be the new principal of Los Alamitos High School. Her appointment was announced by Charles McCully, superintendent of the Los Alamitos Unified School District.
Hart has been a teacher and an administrator in the Newark Unified School District in the San Francisco Bay region since 1973. Her most recent assignment in that district was as assistant principal at Newark Memorial High School.
Hart received her bachelor’s degree in history from UC Berkeley, and she is completing work on her master’s at Cal State Hayward.
