T-bill yields rose at the latest auction.

The Treasury Department sold $7.2 billion in three-month bills at an average discount rate of 7.3%, up from last week’s 7.23%. Another $7.2 billion was sold in six-month bills at an average discount rate of 7.52%, up from 7.4%. The rates were the highest since May 13, when three-month bills averaged 7.69% and six-month bills sold for 7.9%.
