Domestic disputes in Orange County cities resulted in three unrelated arrests for attempted murder Monday.

Richard E. Knisley, 30, was arrested Monday night on suspicion of stabbing his mother, Betty Anne Knisley, 51, in the eyes, chest and stomach and attempting to strangle her in their Santa Ana home. She remains in critical condition at Fountain Valley Community Hospital.

Knisley was booked at Orange County Jail in Santa Ana and is being held on $250,000 bond.

Randolph Edwin Munoz, 30, of Anaheim, was arrested in a Buena Park apartment complex Monday night after his roommate, Diane Marie Voelkel, 36, was found lying wounded in a gutter on Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton. She apparently had been struck in the head with a blunt object, said Fullerton Police Sgt. Dennis Bryerton. She remains in critical condition at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton.
