Motorist ‘Critical’ After Crash: A man from Orange was in critical condition Saturday night after his car and a pickup truck collided on Santiago Canyon Road, the California Highway Patrol said. Michael Stark, 32, was airlifted to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he underwent surgery. The driver of the pickup, Henry Bante, 27, also of Orange, was said to be in stable condition at the medical center. The accident occurred about 2:20 p.m., just north of Peters Canyon Road. Stark was traveling south when his car drifted over the center line, the CHP said.
