Diceon Electronics Posts 17% Increase
Diceon Electronics, Inc., an Irvine-based circuit board manufacturer, posted income of $2.2 million for its third fiscal quarter ended June 29, a 17% increase over $1.88 million the year before. The company attributed the increase entirely to insurance money it collected in the aftermath of a fire that heavily damaged a manufacturing facility in Chatsworth.
Sales for the third quarter remained almost level, $14.06 million compared to $14.67 million for the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s income for the first nine months of its 1985 fiscal year totalled $5 million, up 13% from $4.4 million for the same nine months of fiscal 1984. Sales for the period were $40.99 million, a 6% increase over $38.56 million for the year ago period.
