The Southern California Rapid Transit District’s attempts to remove its Westside bus yard from Main Street and Thornton Place will be discussed at a meeting of the Venice Town Council at 7:30 p.m. today in the Old Venice City Hall, 681 N. Venice Blvd. In response to longtime complaints about noise and fumes from the yard, the district is trying to buy an alternate bus yard site in the Westside.
