Business Centers : 4-Building Complex Under Way in Vista

Construction is expected to be completed this month on the $2-million, 91,728-square-foot, four-building Shadowridge Business Center being built at Watson Way and Thibodo Road, Vista, by Koll Construction Co. for Newport National Corp., Mission Viejo-based developer.

The one-story buildings will range from 15,400 to 34,500 square feet and are designed for small retailers, offices or light manufacturing. The architect is B. W. Steingraber, San Diego. Two buildings will be offered with substantial interior improvements, the other two may be custom-finished for tenants and include truck loading docks.

Marina del Rey Facility

The final phase of the $70-million Marina Business Center has been opened. The 400,000-square-foot business park adjacent to the Marina Freeway was developed by Transpacific Development Co. of Marina del Rey.

The architect is Herbert Nadel AIA & Partners of Los Angeles, Jones Brothers Construction Co. of Beverly Hills is general contractor and Coldwell Banker is the leasing agent. The park consists of three three-story and three two-story office buildings on 19 acres bounded by Mindanao Way and Glencoe Avenue.

Moorpark Complex

The $3.6-million, 105,500-square-foot Freeway Business Center has been completed by Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Los Angeles, at Los Angeles Avenue and Science Drive in Moorpark. The project was designed by Barasch Architects & Associates Inc., Pasadena, and was built by Oltmans Construction Co., Whittier. The leasing agent is Coldwell Banker.
