Skiers Name Woman of the Year

The Far West Ski Assn. honored Sallie Pritchard of Arcadia, president of the California Handicapped Skiers’ Foundation, with its Elizabeth (Schatzi) Wood Woman of the Year Award at its recent annual convention in Oakland.
The award, which honors a woman for a contribution to skiing, was presented for Pritchard’s work, along with other members of Pasadena’s Kronenstadt Ski Club, in establishing the foundation to raise funds for ski programs for the handicapped.
