CBS LISTS START DATES FOR ITS SUMMER SHOWS

“West 57th,” the new CBS News hourlong prime-time magazine series, will start a six-week run on the network Aug. 13, airing in the 10-11 p.m. Tuesday time slot.
The premiere date was announced Wednesday as the network assigned kickoff dates for its first-run summer schedule.
First of the summer series to arrive will be “I Had Three Wives,” a one-hour comedy adventure starring Victor Garber as a roguish private eye. It will play for six weeks, Wednesdays at 8 p.m., beginning Aug. 7.
“Hometown,” a comedy drama that will continue on the fall schedule, begins Aug. 22 in the 10-11 p.m. Thursday time slot. After five weeks, it will switch to its fall time of Tuesdays at 8 p.m. (starting Sept. 24). This is a series about a group who have been friends since their college days in the ‘60s and now are part of the ‘80s Establishment.
The network also said that “One Hogan Place,” a half-hour comedy previously announced for airing this summer, will be held for mid-season scheduling.
CBS has been airing movies Tuesday nights from 9-11, but they’ll be shown from 8-10 p.m. as of Aug. 13.
