Statue’s Restoration Is Meaningful
Dale Baldwin’s column on Robert Baboian, Texas Instruments corrosion expert and consultant to the Statue of Liberty restoration project, is of special interest to me. (“Practical Solutions for Corrosion, Rust,†Real Estate section, June 9.)
It is the first article I’ve seen on this particular aspect of the restoration, which I’ve been following carefully because I’m a proud graduate of Ellis Island and plan to be at the Ellis Island-Statue of Liberty Centennial Celebration on July 4, 1986. Baboian’s work is of course applicable to homeowners in the Southland but I did want to state that it’s of pertinence to someone else also.
My thanks to Dale Baldwin and to the real estate section for carrying this informative piece and keeping us informed about an important development as it affects our beloved Lady Liberty.

Not an Expo Sponsor
The National Council of Exchangors cooperates in the same marketplace with the Creative Real Estate Expo, but was not the sponsor of its 14th annual conference in Las Vegas, as reported April 21.
We would like to take this opportunity not only to make this correction, but to commend Expo ’85 on its highly successful marketing session.
