Firms interested in professional service contracts with Los Angeles city and county government agencies have been urged to supply current information about themselves to the public agencies.
Architect Paul J. McCarty, chairman of the Architects in Government Committee, Los Angeles Chapter, American Institute of Architects, said local government agencies are updating their files and private sector architects, engineers, interior designers, geologists, landscape architects and artists should provide correct and current data about their firms before July 15.
The chapter also plans a Sept. 28 seminar on the governmental selection process, including requests for qualifications, resume and the oral interview.
