Honda said it plans to produce engines in Ohio.

Honda of America said it plans to begin production of auto engines by expanding its recently completed motorcycle engine plant. With the addition of auto engine production, Honda’s investment in the Shelby County plant will total more than $70 million. Combined motorcycle and auto engine and related operations are expected to employ an estimated 225. The expanded production facilities will include capacity for 60,000 auto engines annually for the Honda Civic.
