ABBY MANN TO WRITE SINATRA BIO FOR TV
Academy Award-winning writer Abby Mann has been set by producer Tina Sinatra to write a six-hour miniseries on the life of Frank Sinatra, being produced for CBS by TS Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Mann, who won an Oscar for “Judgment at Nuremberg,†also wrote the TV dramas “The Marcus-Nelson Murders,†“King†and most recently “The Atlanta Child Murders.â€
The new miniseries, planned for airing during the 1986-87 season, will depict Sinatra’s life from his childhood in Hoboken, N.J., to the present.
