Dan Haggerty, who starred in the “Life and Times of Grizzly Adams†television series, was charged in Los Angeles by the U.S. attorney’s office with failing to file federal income tax returns for 1978 and 1981, during which his combined income reportedly was $563,564. If convicted, the 43-year-old actor faces a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $20,000 fine. He was sentenced in April to a 90-day jail term for furnishing cocaine to undercover police officers. He is free pending appeal.
