7 Killed as Speeding Bus Crashes in France

ALES, France — A speeding bus full of British teen-agers on their way to the beach crashed in southern France on Wednesday, killing seven people and injuring 36, police said.
The dead included the driver of the bus, three students and three adults accompanying them. Three of the injured were reported in critical condition.
Police said the bus was traveling about 75 m.p.h. when it entered a curve on Highway 110 near the village of Ledignan, ran off the road and overturned.
