Lakewood Game Arcades to Assist March of Dimes
LAKEWOOD — Two local video game arcades--the Electronic Corral, 129 Lakewood Center, and Bally’s Great Escape, 5254 Faculty Ave.--will raise funds Saturday through Monday for this year’s March of Dimes national telethon against birth defects.
The grand prize winner in the MOD Video-a-Thon may appear on camera during the local segment of the telethon, which will be broadcast on Channel 13 on June 29 and 30. In addition, a home computer will be awarded to the player who brings in the most money for the telethon, with runners-up to receive prizes.
