Powell Still Wealthiest Justice, Marshall Poorest

WASHINGTON — Supreme Court Justice Lewis F. Powell Jr. is still the richest member of the nation’s high court and Thurgood Marshall has maintained his status as the poorest, annual financial disclosure forms showed Wednesday. Powell reported assets of between $2.6 million and $5.6 million for 1984. Marshall reported assets of $5,000 to $15,000.
